E-mail templates
Templates per document type with variables; the language is chosen from the partner record when sending.
Open Profile menu → Email Templates (/email-templates).
- One template per document type × language (same emailable types as print layouts).
- Fields: subject, body (variables like
{{partner_name}},{{document_code}},{{total}},{{due_date}},{{company_name}},{{document_date}}), optional CC/BCC. - Send e-mail on a document renders the PDF with the published print layout, picks the template in the partner's language, attaches the PDF and logs the send in the document's activity.
- Dunning, payment reminders, booking confirmations, tender invitations and portal invitations use their own system templates.
